Refund requests arising from any cancellations will be dealt with by Camp Executive on a case-by-case basis. Refunds will generally not be possible for any cancellations after final attendance numbers are provided to the venue.
Will my child get to stay with their first roommate preference?
We do our best to accommodate your child’s roommate preference. This will be impacted by the size of available beds within rooms (range from 4-6 people per cabin). To ensure your children is allocated with at least one friend, please ensure you place their name in while you are registering your child/ren.
During camp
What happens if a youth or child displays symptoms of COVID-19 at camp?

The youth or child who is COVID-19 positive will be asked to isolate until a parent/guardian can pick them up and take them home.
How can we communicate with our kids whilst they’re at camp?
We ask that all smart devices (phones, tablets) be left at home or handed in to Directors. This is to help your child remain present at camp with their friends and avoid distraction. What to bring
- Comfortable clothes for the length of camp (keep in mind that it can be very hot or quite cool. T shirts with sleeves are preferable, not singlet tops, due to outdoor activities and for sun protection.)
- A day out backpack – a small bag which the children could carry their towel and a possible change of clothes in. Please have their NAME on the bag.
- Hat (campers cannot participate in activities without a hat)
- Bedding - sheets, pillowcase, blanket or sleeping bag (pillows are provided but if campers want
to bring their own pillow they can). - Clothes that can get wet and/or dirty. We have some games/activities where clothes might get ruined so pack some old clothes that can be thrown out afterwards.
- Swimmers and rash vest (compulsory)
- PJ’s
- Two pairs of enclosed shoes - one pair that can get wet/dirty and one pair that will stay dry. For safety reasons (because of sharp objects in the water), campers need to bring one pair of shoes that they can swim in and wear at the waterfront. Please note: thongs or crocs are not suitable for this – water shoes or an old pair of sneakers are perfect. Target and Kmart usually sell wet shoes for about $10.
- A pair of thongs or sandals
- 2 towels – one for water activities and one for showering
- Insect repellent
- Toiletries – Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, etc
- A pen/pencils and a Bible (if campers have one – we have spare Bibles to lend anyone who doesn’t bring one.)
- Costume to dress up for the last night.
- If your child has one already, it would be helpful for them to bring their own wetsuit/life jacket labelled clearly (there are plenty of life jackets available at camp if you do not have one).
- A torch (optional)
What NOT to bring
- Valuable or expensive items that may break
- Soft drinks, energy drinks or alcohol
- Any illicit substances
If a camper is found to have any prohibited items at camp, the camper will be sent home immediately.
