About Our Church
St David's Forestville Anglican Church is located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. We love Jesus. We love sharing our lives with each other. We love showing people true hope found in Jesus.
Our Vision
Our prayer is to see God glorified as thousands are being transformed by Jesus in the Forest and beyond.
We're so thankful to God for how He has worked in so many lives since St David's started gathering together in the 1950s. Many have found life in Jesus, and grown in their love for him since then.
Yet, there are currently over 113,000 people who are a 10 minute drive from us. And many don't know the saving good news of Jesus and the life changing hope he brings both now and forever.
Under God, will you join us to see more people transformed by Jesus and eternally saved? We want to be like a lifeboat, with Jesus as our commander, working together to see people rescued by Jesus, loving and caring for each other, and joining us in this amazing rescue mission.
Meet the Team
Lead Pastor
Jon Kwan
Born and raised in Sydney, Jon joined St David’s in 2022 after nine years pastoring in Sydney's Inner West, and before pastoring was a Chemical Engineer. He loves helping people meet Jesus in the Bible, and enjoys surfing, good coffee and watching NRL. Jon is married to Kirili and they have two teenage children.

Scott Taylor
Scott grew up in Sydney but spend 4 years in Mexico. He’s been a graphic designer and a missionary. He enjoys chatting about Lego, the Sea Eagles, ocean swims and especially Jesus. Scott and his wife Diana have three daughters: Trinity, Abi and Jemima.

Cathy Young
Cathy has returned to the Northern Beaches after 20+ years away. She treasures her two adult sons, her cavoodle Casper, and her identity as a child of God. Grateful for Jesus’ love,
she enjoys family, friends, nature, and simple pleasures, and hopes others will know the fullness of life found in Him.

Sarah Bishop
Sarah has been part of St David’s for over 17 years, first learning about Christ in youth group. Married to Josh, she has served in kids and youth ministry for 15+ years and now leads the range of children’s programs at St David’s. She loves sharing Christ’s love through coffee catch-ups, hospitality, and encouraging others.
Ministry Trainee
Gracie Seeto
Gracie grew up at St David’s and is grateful for how it helped her understand Jesus’ saving work. While finishing her psychology degree, she volunteered at church, gaining insight into ministry and investing in youth and women’s lives, leading her to undertake a two-year ministry traineeship. She enjoys creative projects, matcha lattes, exploring new places, and connecting with people.
Ministry Trainee
Tamsin Scouller
Tamsin has been a part of St David’s for over 12 years, coming to know Jesus through youth group. She worked briefly as a lawyer but was convinced of people's need for Jesus, prompting her to undertake a two-year ministry traineeship. She is married to Matt, has two cats, and enjoys reading, coffee, walks, swimming, and chatting about Jesus.
Administration
Marina Blythe
Marina has lived in Sydney all her life, moving to the Forest 17 years ago. She and her husband, Josh, have two children and have been part of St David’s for over a decade. A trained primary teacher, she now balances part-time teaching and administration, and enjoys time with family, friends, and coffee.
