It's Music Time is a music class for children aged 0-5 years old that meets in the church hall. The lessons are given in a Christian context with a greater focus on your child's physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
The class begins at 10am and goes for 30 minutes, followed by a time afterwards for you to give your little one morning tea, have some outside play time and catch up with others.
During the class, we sing nursery rhymes, Christian songs, play simple musical instruments, hear stories from the Bible, learn basic musical concepts and move to music. The class is lead by a leader, with the participation of the parent or care-giver as they help their child through each activity or song. No previous musical experience is required and everyone is welcome!
It's Music Time is a great chance for you to spend one-on-one time with your child, enjoying and exploring music. Please invite your friends - remember, their first It's Music Time is free!
It's Music Time meets on Tuesdays from 10am -11.30am during school terms.
Each term has a theme or two which is integrated through the music and story time activities.
