This page serves as an opportunity for our Parish Council and Wardens to share with the congregation important information about the decisions and direction of our church.
Please pray for our discussions about two important issues, among others:
Completion of Stage 1: The four parts of the stage 1 development are coming together. You will remember the four parts 1. The Playground, 2. The Annexe 3. The Toilet Block, 4. The water reten-tion tanks as required by the local council. Our current builders are building the extension to exter-nal lock-up. This will be achieved in the next couple of weeks. We have to raise funding to com-plete the internal fixtures of the extension. PC is at present costing these, and exploring a short term loan with the diocese to finish the job off quickly, as we continue to raise funds for the build-ing fund. Pray for wise stewardship.
Initiating Stage 2 planning: While we have builders and architects on the property we are also having very preliminary discussions about stage 2, the development of the 701 Warringah Road property. Our aim is to build something that will help our staff accommodation and ministry funding plan into the future. Pray we are wise in our deliberations and stewardship of our resources.
As Parish Council is aware property development is not the main game but a support to the out-reach ministry of our church family.
Parish Council looks forward to September as we have a season of Global mission awareness raising. Please pray for godly wise advancement of these issues.
